  Ending the Long Slumber
Maaaaan. Two months! How the heck did that happen?

Over the last week I've forsaken technology as much as possible. The reason being, it's actually getting me to draw stuff. Instead of talking about drawing stuff. What I've learned is, I have a loooong way to go before I'll be doing anything of professional quality.

That is, if I try to draw directly out of my head. I'm still pretty good at freehanding from photographs. I've been drawing girls in swimsuits.

Y'know, building a foundation. Getting used to the human form. Being a per.... uh, yeah. Important stuff.

Also, I've set up a DeviantART profile, where my username is SilverAlicorn. After a good four years, Ikkakujyu kinda got boring... plus I'm tired of using a name that is inherently misspelled. "Alicorn" is the alchemical term for a unicorn's horn, and I wanted to denote my other name ("Shiro", meaning white) in a way that avoids certain connotations. Silver being the white metal, of course.

I'm going to switch to DeviantART for some of my blogging needs, if it'll work with TPC's blog aggregator.
