Faster still!
I got the new "Diablo" ITOS 2008 going on the N800. No massive changes, but there's a new mail client, an updated flash plugin, Japanese fonts from the get-go, and everything feels snappier. Ajax applications run a little faster, so Google Maps is more usable. Makes me wonder if I could write a native app, though. I haven't tried running mpd yet.
I also acquired the developer preview for Mac OS 10.6 "Snow Leopard." They've done absolutely zero cosmetic changes so far, but it's
fast. There's better 64-bit support, and this new Grand Central devilry seems to make a real difference. They've also made the system take up less space, like they promised, though mostly by not installing the plethora of languages and printer drivers by default. To the relief of many, lipo still reports all the core utilities and programs as universal for PPC. Release is a year off, so I have high expectations for any more changes they make.
